Healing What Hurts
Being a Christian doesn't make us immune to pain. It simply means we have Someone to run to when life hurts.
Too often people assume that mature believers don't struggle. They think if you've been walking with God for years, you shouldn't cry, grieve, feel disappointed, or wrestle with difficult seasons. The truth is, even strong faith needs God's comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 reminds us that God is "the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort."
There are wounds that medicine can't touch, money can't fix, and motivational quotes can't heal. Sometimes the hurt comes from betrayal, loss, loneliness, rejection, unanswered prayers, or simply carrying the weight of life.
The good news is that God doesn't just save us, He consoles us. He sits with us in the middle of our pain and reminds us that we're not carrying it alone.
If your heart is hurting today, don't feel pressured to pretend you're okay. Bring your pain to the One who understands every tear.
What hurt have you been carrying that God is inviting you to finally place in His hands?
